DILLWYN, July 15 – Cristal M. Miller, 76, of Dillwyn, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Southside Community Hospital in Farmville.

She was the daughter of George Edward Mottern and Edith Free Mottern of Seiverville, TN, and was born September 15, 1931 in Cocke County, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed Miller, as well as brothers and sisters, Raymond Mottern, Edward Mottern, Virginia M. Edmonds, Ralph Mottern, Jewel M. Blalock, Christine Mottern, and Eugene Mottern of Seiverville, TN.

Mrs. Miller is survived by a brother, Earnest Fain Mottern; a daughter, Janet D. Miller and a son, George Reed Miller, both of Dillwyn; as well as two grand-children, Derick Miller of Springfield and Erika Brigante of New Smyrna Beach, FL.

A memorial service was held Saturday, July 12, at Cedar Baptist Church of Dillwyn.
