Audrey A. McKay, 96 Of Farmville Dies Tuesday

JANUARY 29 – Audrey A. McKay, 96, of Farmville, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004, In Farmville.

She was born October 30, 1907 in Halifax County, a daughter of the late Sam and Nancy Katherine Wade Arthur. She was the widow of Raynard H. McKay.

She is survived by three sons, Curtis McKay and his wife, Nancy, Charles McKay and his wife. Patsy all of Farmville and Bernard McKay and his wife, Ann of Richmond; two daughters, Anne Barton and her husband, Charles of Green Bay and Jerolene Jennings and her husband, William of Richmond; five sisters-in-law, Beulah Arthur, Dallas M. Trible, Virginia M. Cralle, Ruth M. Pollard and Edith M. Falkowski; one brother-in-law, Lloyd B. McKay; ten grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and eight great-step grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Douglas Presbyterian Church with interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville.
