MARCH 4 Amanda Gambrell Pitts, 95, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004 in Farmville. She was the widow of W. Clyde Pitts.

She is survived by her daughter, Glenda P. Stimpson of Farmville; her son, Larry C. Pitts of Greenville, SC; her four grandchildren, Jeff Stimpson, Wade Stimpson, Jr., Brian Pitts and Sean Pitts and her great-grandchildren, Reeve Stimpson, Halley Stimpson, Jessee Stimpson, Riley Stimpson, Lauren Stimpson, Trey Stimpson, III, Bailey Pitts and Ellis Pitts.

Graveside services were held 1 p.m. today (Thursday) in The Woodlawn Memorial Park, Greenville, SC.

Remembrances may be made to Christian Blind Mission.

Doyne-Burger-Davis Funeral Home, Farmville, was in charge of arrangements.
