PROSPECT, Dec. 30 – Agnes Virginia McFadden, 87, of Prospect, died Saturday, December 27, 2008 in Farmville. She was the widow of John W. McFadden.

Born in Pamplin on October 13, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Charles Walker and Evelyn Blair Doss Lucado.

She was retired from Leggett's Department Store.

Mrs. McFadden is survived by two daughters, Linda M. Franklin and husband, Elton of Prospect and Pat Horn of Prospect; son, Charles McFadden and wife, Joyce of Forest; four grandchildren, Kim Stephenson, Johnny Horn, Terri Bolt and Robby Franklin; eight great-grandchildren, Samantha Franklin, Allison Franklin, Caitlin Franklin, Josh Horn, Taylor Horn, Nicky Murdock, Ashley Bolt and Brandon Bolt; and two great-great-grandchildren, Payden Baldwin and Haley Mur-dock.

Funeral services were held Tuesday (today), Dec. 30, at Glen Memorial Baptist Church, Prospect. Interment followed in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice.
