NOVEMBER 25 – John Daryll Manning, 39, died Sunday, November 23, 2003 In Richmond.

He was born September 30, 1964 in Jackson, North Carolina, a son of the late Howard Glynn Manning, Sr. and Dorothy Meade Pierce Manning.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa E. Manning; his daughters, Elizabeth Rose Manning of Dillwyn and Brandl Jo Manning of Crewe; his son, Cody Black of Texas; his stepson, Michael Ramsey of Crewe; his brothers and sisters, Lenward Lester Manning of Richsquare, NC, Doris M. Spiratos of Henderson, NC, Annie Roslyn Manning of Travis AFB, California, Joel Amos Manning of Kenbrldge, Mary Anna M. Schuchman of Travis AFB, California, Jackie Manning Williams of Dillwyn, Marilyn Long Davis of Keysville and Theresa M. Crenshaw of Green Bay. He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Glynn Manning, Jr.

A graveside service will be held 12 noon Wednesday at Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery, Rice.

The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville.
