DILLWYN, May 11 – Henry K. Nicholson Jr., 61, of Dillwyn, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2010. On April 10, 1949 in Front Royal, he was born to Virginia Foster Nicholson, of Fredericksburg, and the late Henry K. Nicholson Sr.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Cathy Davis Nicholson; two children, Henry K. Nicholson III and wife, Jeanie, and Amanda N. Jenkins and husband, Bobby; two foster sons, Edward K. Burchett and Jerry D. Burchett; grandchildren, Teresa N., Sabrina M., and Henry K. Nicholson IV and Luke T. Jenkins.

A memorial service will be held on May 15 at Buckingham Baptist Church at 1 p.m.
