NEW CANTON, Oct.. 23 -Nannie Pearl Snoddy Lightfoot, 92, of New Canton, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 m Buckingham County.

She was born April 24, 1911, a daughter of the late William T. and Nora Bransford Snoddy. She was preceded in death by a son, Alvin Wallace Lightfoot, a granddaughter, Tammy Lightfoot and a grandson, Bennie Lightfoot.

She is survived by two sons, Aubrey W. Lightfoot and his wife, Marie and Edward “Burnelle” Lightfoot, Sr. and his wife, Anne all of New Canton; one brother, Carl Snoddy of Annandale; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Friday in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends this evening (Thursday) from 7 to 9 p.m. at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn.
