Funeral Service To Be Held Friday For Edna Finch, 93

PROSPECT, April 29 – Edna Mae Scruggs Finch, 93, died at her home in Prospect on Tuesday, April 27, 2010. She was born in Buckingham on September 22, 1916, the daughter of the late Will and Eula Scruggs, and the wife of the late Alfred Monk Finch. She was the oldest member of Prospect United Methodist Church and was well loved by all she knew.

She is survived by a daughter, Eula Paris and husband, Wayne of Prospect; three grand-children, Rickey, Cristy and Craig; two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Michael; sister, Gladys Fulcher of Prospect, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a son, Al Finch and six brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment at Oakview Church, Cullen.

The family will receive friends Thursday (tonight), April 29, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home.
