Youth art exhibition at Longwood

Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Smith enjoyed lunch at La Parota on Sunday afternoon after church. Joining them was Alex Wray.

“Start with Art, Learn for Life,” the annual area Youth Art Exhibition at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts, continues through April 8.

Richard and Margaret Stockton attended the Youth Art Exhibition at the Longwood Center for the Visual Arts on Sunday, March 11. Their grandson, Sean has a piece of his art on display. The talent these young people have is amazing. Go see this exhibition it will be well worth your time.

Jennifer Jones’ grandmother, Mrs. Flora Bolt, visited Jennifer Jones and baby Thomas Dale on March 5. Flora was excited as she held Thomas Dale for a few minutes. Thomas Dale is her great grandson.

Appomattox P.E. Presbyterian Church members were excited as they welcomed Thomas Dale Jones to church on Sunday, his first visit. He was born Feb. 12 to Trae and Jennifer Jones. After church services he made his first trip to his grandmother, Judy Bolt, to have lunch with her and the rest of the family: Buddy and Lois Woodson, Flora Bolt, Garland Woodson, Douglas Bolt, Steve Bolt, Haley Murdock, Payden Murdock, Ashley Poythress and daughters Hannah and Jorden.

Friends and neighbors are praying for a speedy recovery for Don Meadows, Fred Floyd, Betty Meadows, Phyllis Fulcher, Shirley Fulcher, Frances Southall, Randy Martin and Betty Jean Bolt.

Members of Appomattox P.E. Presbyterian Church at Tuggle invite you to worship with them each Sunday; Kemper Beasley III will be the guest speaker on Sunday, March 18.
