H-SC’s Levin, Brown named USILA All-Americans

For significant contributions to Hampden-Sydney College’s lacrosse squad, junior midfielder Hunter Brown was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Third Team All-American while junior attackman Ian Levin was picked to the honorable mention team.

Brown is the first Tigers player to be named a third team All-American or higher since Kyle Jett was a second teamer in 2010.

Both Levin and Brown broke the previous school record for points in a season (78). Brown recorded 87 points, breaking the school record for assists with 44 and the record for season midfielder points. His 44 assists were the 15th-most in the nation this season while his 87 points were good for 21st. He was named First Team All-ODAC.

Levin finished the year with 91 points on 34 assists (fifth-most in school history) and a school-record 57 goals. He ranked 13th in NCAA Division III in total points and 23rd in goals scored. He was also named to the ODAC All-Tournament Team and the All-ODAC First Team.
