The championship finale of the Southside Piedmont Junior Golf Association was held Thursday at Emporia Country Club, with several golfers from the area standing out, including Emily Erickson, of Farmville, who won the Girls 14- to 17-year-old division.

Erickson won with an 18-hole score of 84.

Pictured below are the Boys 7- to 9-year-old division and the Girls 7- to 10-year-old division, the two youngest divisions in the championship finale.

Those placing in the Girls 7- to 10-year-old division included, from left, Kelsey Carter, first place; Audrey Hite, second place; Raegan Barton, third place; and Lauren Hite, fourth place.

Those placing in the Boys 7- to 9-year-old division included, from left, Mason Jones, second place; and Caleb Conner, first place.
