Public schools to close Thursday

Prince Edward County Public Schools, Buckingham County Public Schools and Cumberland County Public Schools will close Thursday, according to announcements from each respective school system.

Cumberland County Public Schools cited in an announcement that it will be serving a Community Lunch Thursday from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m. Children eat free while adults can eat for $3.25.
