Corinne Hamilton MooreCorinne Hamilton Moore, 93 of Farmville, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 7. Corinne, known as Connie, was born on June 25, 1930 to Olivia and Henry Hamilton in Lynchburg. Connie was raised in Madisonville. In 1950, she married her late husband, Richard Henry Moore and they resided in Farmville,, raising their two daughters. 

Connie was always active in her community and was always engaged in her family. Connie assisted her husband, working in the family business, Moore Distributing. She was a member of the Farmville United Methodist Church, the Nora Lancaster Garden Club and The Serendipity Club. 

Connie is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Moore Dobbs (Chris) and Janet Moore Newman (David) and her two grandchildren, Laura Leigh Acton and David Arnold Newman Jr. and her two great grandchildren. 

A funeral service will take place at Puckett Funeral Home in Farmville on Wednesday, January 10, at 2 p.m., preceded by visitation at 1 p.m.. A graveside interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Farmville.
