Book Club learns about the news
The Third Thursday Book Club met Sept. 21 at the home of Donna VanCleave in Farmville. The speaker was Brian Carlton, editor of the Farmville Herald and its sister newspapers, the Charlotte Gazette and The Kenbridge-Victoria Dispatch. He also oversees Farmville the Magazine. Brian spoke with the group about the newspaper’s work, while also answering questions about recent events in Farmville and Prince Edward County.
