Virginia Market News Service reported the following weekly ag trends on August 4: State graded feeder cattle uneven, with steers trending mostly 2.00 to 8.00 lower and heifers 2.00 to 7.00 higher. Feeder cattle at regular auction sales, in a light test, steady to 15.00 higher. Slaughter cows mostly 3.00 to 15.00 higher. Wheat mostly .86 lower. Corn .34 to .68 lower, new crop mostly .48 lower. Soybeans .65 to 2.23 lower, new crop mostly .73 lower.
