Eubanks inducted into DAR

The Judith Randolph-Longwood chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) recently added a member to their ranks.Daina Slocum Eubanks is the 1,035,470th daughter to become a member of DAR. Her induction took place on Saturday, Nov. 12 during their monthly meeting, which was held at the Barbara Johns/Farmville-Prince Edward Community Library in Farmville.DAR members are women who come from diverse backgrounds, who have a variety of interests. Their common bond is their lineal descent from patriots of the American Revolution – any woman, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background, who can prove lineage, is eligible to join.
