The Town of Farmville joined with the City of Lynchburg and other law enforcement agencies across the Commonwealth to donate gently used police gear to the Ukraine. Virginia localities are stepping up to fill the void due to supply chain issues in obtaining new equipment. In the U.S. law enforcement officers are required to get new gear every five years so their gently used gear is going to Ukraine.
