Ann Elizabeth Slayton, 66 of Farmville, passed away on March 27. She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 8, 1955. She is the daughter of the late Denver Owen and Betty Brunk Mikesell.

She worked and retired from the Farmville DMV.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lois M. Edwards.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Jo Slayton; a grandson; a brother, Jay Mikesell and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 31, at 1 p.m., in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home.
