John Porter Griffin, 96 of Dillwyn, passed peacefully at his home on Nov. 17. He was the widower of Ruth W. Griffin. He is survived by two children, John P. Griffin Jr. and Jeanne G. Katz. He was a life member of Buckingham VFW Post 8446. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
