Farmville United Methodist Church is excited to announce that Rev. Susie Thomas has been appointed to serve at FUMC beginning Sunday, June 28.

“I can’t wait to meet the people of FUMC,” she said. “I’m inspired by your love for your church and your commitment to serving the Farmville community. I’ll be praying for Farmville UMC during this coronavirus crisis and until we meet in June, may God bless and keep each of you.”
Reverend Thomas is a native of Monkton, Maryland. She graduated from Drew Theological School in Madison, New Jersey in 2009 and was ordained an elder in the UMC in 2012.
She and her husband Britt have lived in Louisiana for 20 years. They have two daughters – Olivia, 24, who works in Baltimore and Katherine, a first-year student at the University of Virginia.
