Liberty students to perform at Concord Baptist

The King’s Players, comprised of Liberty University students, will present a drama at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the FOCUS Center of Concord Baptist Church, Sheppards.

“Which Way?” is a humorous, thought provoking, and powerful dramatic presentation of the Gospel which examines man’s ultimate destiny. There is no charge, and all are welcome. The FOCUS Center is located at the intersection of Francisco and Deer Run Roads.

The Virginia Cooperative Extension will be presenting a free workshop on Agribusiness Essentials March 11 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at The BARN at 11851 W. James Anderson Hwy., Buckingham. Lunch will be provided. There will be a panel of speakers that will present information on applying for loans, writing business plans, different business structures, setting up a limited liability company (LLC), business transition to the next generation, gifting of ownership shares, wills and revocable living trusts. Registration is required for this free workshop in order to plan appropriately for materials and lunch. The Buckingham County Public Library wants you to join them on Friday, Feb. 21 from noon until 2 p.m. for Movie Friday. Then on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 2:30-3:30 p.m., enjoy amazing Mr. B’s Magic Workshop. Kids ages 6-12 are invited to learn some sleight of hand magic tricks from The Amazing Mr. B. He’s visited the library before to perform his magic shows, but this time the magician will reveal his secrets. Well, some of them.
