Boy Scout Merit Badge College Day set

Hampden-Sydney (H-SC) will host the Ninth Annual Boy Scout Merit Badge College Day Feb. 15. The event is open to all troops in the Heart of Virginia Council.
Merit Badge Day gives troops the opportunity to learn from qualified instructors and the potential to earn up to two merit badges as well as an event patch. Merit badge classes offered at H-SC include American Business, American Heritage, Chemistry, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Crime Prevention, and Dentistry among others. For the adult leaders, survivalist Will Frank is teaching a Wilderness Survival Seminar.
The fee for the event will include lunch in the H-SC dining hall and coffee time for adult leaders in the Tiger Inn.
