Fuqua School’s varsity girls basketball team earned its second win of the season when it defeated visiting Kenston Forest School 38-34 Wednesday, Jan. 29.

“The girls have really grown together as a team and have worked very hard throughout the season,” Lady Falcons Head Coach MacKenzie Pigg said. “We lost to Kenston the first time we played them, so this was just the way for the team to show how much they have grown.”

The win takes Fuqua’s overall record to 2-12.

The Lady Falcons are set to visit Peninsula Catholic High School Friday, Jan. 31, at 5:30 p.m.
