Prince Edward County High School senior track and field star Makayla Morris, pictured in center, recently received her fourth state championship ring for winning the Virginia High School League Class 2 title in the girls high jump. A small ceremony was held for Morris during halftime of the Prince Edward varsity boys basketball home opener on Dec. 3.
