Guy Runion was born June 25, 1940 in Flag Pond, Tennessee, to Hugh & Melda Runion, Guy Runion would live a life devoted to his God, country, and family. It has been said that Guy never met a stranger, and if you were blessed enough to have met him, you would likely agree. On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Guy, or Pop as he was so affectionately known to many, was reunited in heaven with the love of his life, Margaret. There was long awaited homecoming celebration as he was also greeted in his heavenly home by his parents, aunts & uncles, a brother, cousins, nephews & nieces, and grandchildren.

Those of us who survived Pop have a lifetime of memories that we are so grateful for, and there won’t be a day go by that we don’t think of him. As an Army Veteran, he had a certain way about him that could be somewhat intimidating, but he was one of the most gentle individuals and he left a legacy that will live on the lives of his children and grandchildren, whom he loved more than anything, they were his world.
