CHRISTMAS CANTATA, 11 a.m. at Oakwood UMC, 1291 Columbia Road, Columbia. All are welcome.
CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 11 a.m. of The Clarence Jones Youth Choir of the Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Guest choirs will join in the celebration. The church is located at 3357 Cutbanks Road, Pamplin. Lunch will be served. Everyone welcome.

NEW YEAR’S EVE SERVICE, 10:30 p.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church of Rice. All are welcome to come and worship with us.
WATCH NIGHT SERVICE, 10 p.m. at Jericho Baptist Church, corner of Hill and Franklin streets in Farmville.
COMBINED SERVICES, of the Apostolic Faith Church of All Nations and the Oak Grove Baptist Church for a New Year’s Eve service at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
NEW YEAR’S EVE SERVICE, 10:30 p.m. at Union Branch Baptist Church, Arvonia. Food, fellowship and fun. Deacon Michael Jones will deliver an encouraging word. All are welcome.
JANUARY 1
2020: A NEW BEGINNING, 10 a.m. at Tearwallet Baptist Church (Route 60, Cumberland) Missionary Ministry. Come out and give thanks to God for His grace and mercy in allowing us to see another new year. Speaker will be Associate Minister Van H. Petty, Sr. with music by Brother Michael Goins.
JUBILEE DAY, 11 a.m. hosted by the Prince Edward County NAACP at the Moton Museum. The speaker will be Dr. Amy Tillerson-Brown and music will be provided by Torrie Patterson. The theme for this year is “Still We Rise.” All are welcome to join us as we reflect on our past, present and future.

CARGIVER SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET, 2-3 p.m. at Brookview at the Woodland, Farmville, for families and caregivers of persons living with dementia.

BEEKEEPERS TO MEET, 7 p.m. at the Prince Edward County Extension Office near Lowe’s in Farmville. Retired Longwood chemistry professor Pat Barber will speak on “Keeping Honeybees in Southside Virginia.” Sign-ups for the Bee School will be on a space available basis. COMMEMORATION SERVICE, 2:30 p.m. at First Liberty Baptist Church to commemorate the life of Dr. Martin L. King, Jr. Guest speaker will be the Rev. Kippy Lundy, pastor of Third Liberty Baptist accompanied by his choir and ushers. Lunch will be served.
