2nd Amendment sanctuary declared in Cumberland

At its Dec. 10 meeting the Cumberland County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously 3-0 to declare Cumberland County a Second Amendment sanctuary. District Two Supervisor Lloyd Banks was not present at the meeting and therefore did not participate in the vote.

The resolution means that the county will not expend resources to enforce certain gun control measures perceived as violative of the Second Amendment. Check back with The Herald for more.
