Margaret Micer Foster, 74, of Farmville, VA passed peacefully on November 18, 2019. She was born in Virginia to the late W. Oscar Micer and Elizabeth Ranson Micer. She grew up on a tobacco and dairy farm in Prince Edward County, VA. She graduated from Prince Edward Academy and after school married her love and husband of 50 years, Henry L. Foster. She worked as a beautician until her children were born and then was a homemaker working in the garden and raising beautiful irises. She loved her family, her pets, and church.

She is survived by her husband; two children, Joyce A. Foster of King William, VA and Henry L. Foster Jr. of Farmville, VA; and one sister, Nancy M. Hodges.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 3 p.m. in Westview Cemetery in Farmville, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside SPCA, P.O. Box 66, Meherrin, VA 23954.
