Joyce Jean Biggers, age 76, passed away on Nov. 25, 2019. Jean was a seamstress at Amelia Dress Factory. She also worked part-time as a beautician and housekeeper.

She is survived by her husband Robert Biggers Sr., a daughter Pattie Walters (Bob), two sons Robert Biggers Jr. (Kathy), Randall Biggers (Lisa), eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one sister Iris Clark, two step-sisters, Mary Black (Troy), Betty Jo Toombs and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Roy Wesley Hutchins, mother Mammie Leonard and brother Wayne Hutchins.

Jean loved sewing and quilting and taking care of her fishpond and flowers. She enjoyed trips to the beach with her family.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon on Friday Nov. 29, at Concord Baptist Church, 12053 Francisco Rd., Farmville, with funeral services to follow.
