Feeding Farmville is a community project to deliver 800 meals on Thanksgiving Day. Donations have been received to cover the food, but still need volunteers willing to deliver the meals. All deliveries are made in teams of two so they need drivers and companions. Volunteers need to be at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1301 Milnwood Road, Farmville, by 10 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning. After receiving instructions and a list of addresses they will be on the way by 10:30 a.m. Each team will have about five stops. Our goal is that all deliveries are done by noon.
