The Buckingham Raiders continued their success at the 4th Brigade Best of the Best Raider Qualifier held at Pocahontas State Park, Richmond.

The Raider meet was held on Nov. 9 and over 53 teams were entered to try and compete for the coveted Best of Best Raider Championships slots that would be awarded to the winners.

Raider Commanders Tyler Moore, Joey Boyles and Chris Opie would combine their efforts as the Male Team would be named overall grand champion for Raider North. All three Raider Teams would win an impressive nine trophies.

After returning from Raider Nationals the prior week, where the Male Team finished seventh in the nation and the All Service Team finished eighth in the nation, all three teams agreed that this was a perfect way to end fall 2019 Raider season.

This was Buckingham Raiders’ second appearance at the national level. To be awarded a Raider Nationals slot, the Raider Team must have placed in the top three at Best of the Best Raider Challenge, sponsored by 4th Brigade, based out of Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Teams from all across the U.S. competed in the two day event.
