Each month during the monthly meeting, the Cumberland County School Board recognizes the Students of the Month for each school. The following students were recognized at the October meeting, held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, Chase Wise, middle, third-grader at Cumberland County Elementary School, son of Charles and April Wise of Cumberland; Tamitha Leach, right, seventh-grader at Cumberland County Middle School, daughter of Shery Leach of Cartersville; and Samantha Tillett, left, 11th-grader at Cumberland County High School, daughter of Paul and Wendy Tillett of Cumberland.
