The Redbud Garden Club held its August program at Rochette’s Florist with Sid Allen providing a presentation on “Fall Decorating.” Allen demonstrated how to make a linear vegetative design, a cornucopia design using flowers and artificial fruit, and a wreath using sunflowers and gerbera daisies. During his informal talk, Allen gave tidbits on arranging flowers and ways to keep flowers fresh longer. Members enjoyed his creative style and enthusiasm.
