The Prince Edward County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a domestic dispute that involved shots fired.

According to a release from the Sheriff’s Office the incident occurred on Sept. 9 at the 100 block of Oakwood Drive in Rice.

Upon arrival to the scene, deputies found that one of the individuals involved had left the scene.

According to the release, no injuries or property damage was reported.
