Supervisors we have been able to provide some of the best state of the art equipment and upgrades to efficiency. The world is changing and we must keep pace with those changes. We have a close working relationship with all of the area law enforcement agencies and have written mutual aid agreements in place with most of them, in the event of an emergency. The Piedmont Regional Drug and Gang Task Force, that we are a part of, has been quite successful in stemming the tide of illegal drugs. We are constantly striving to keep our schools safe by maintaining communication and addressing concerns of the school superintendent and staff. Community outreach is still an important part of our job and when programs or appearances are requested, we will continue to try to fill that need. Our office receives, on average, 300 calls for service each week and my deputies are highly trained and professional. As always my door is open, suggestions are welcome and I am dedicated to working with the citizens of Buckingham County to continue to keep it a safe place to live, work and raise our children. I ask for your continued support, your prayers and your vote on Tuesday Nov. 5.”
