Hedy Meadows Maness, age 79, formerly of Farmville, Virginia, passed away on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at her home. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Maness, 3 sons: Jerry Downes of Salsbury, Maryland, Russell Downes, of Clearwater, Florida, Timmy Downes of Lynchburg, Virginia; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, brothers Don Meadows of Monroe, North Carolina and Tommy Meadows of Fruitland, Maryland; one sister Connie Scott of Gainesville, Georgia.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 31 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.

Burial in Church Cemetery.
