A missing Farmville resident, Derrick Gray, has been located and is safe, according to a report by the Richmond Police Department on Wednesday.

Gray, 43, was reported missing on June 8 after he was scheduled to board the Chinese Express bus at the terminal near West Broad Street and the Boulevard in Richmond to New York City on June 1.
Detectives established contact with Gray in New York on Tuesday.

“We are always glad when we can reunite a person with their family,” Major
Crimes Detective A. Sleem said in a news release from the department. “We would like to thank our media partners and the public for helping us get the word out on Mr. Gray’s disappearance.”
