In observance of Independence Day July 4, the Town of Farmville Public Works Department will be closed July 4-5. There will be changes to the garbage/cardboard collection schedule as follows: Monday, July 1, regular residential and business garbage/cardboard; Tuesday, July 2, regular residential garbage and Tuesday and Thursday curbside recycling; Wednesday, July 3, regular residential and business garbage/cardboard; Thursday, July 4, no collections residential or business; and Friday, July 5, no collections residential or business.
