Sarah-Jane French, of Cumberland, was among the more than 150 students recognized for outstanding academic performance Friday, May 17, at Butler Community College in Kansas.

Students who maintained a 3.75 or higher grade-point average throughout their time as a Butler student were recognized at the Order of the Purple and Honors Recognition Ceremony.

French was a member of Phi Theta Kappa.
