HISTORY PROGRAM, 7 p.m. hosted by The Friends of the Appomattox River featuring the many and varied historical resources found along the Appomattox River in our area. Robert “Bob” Flippen, will present a Powerpoint that takes the observer on a journey along the river. Program will be held at the Barbara Rose Johns Farmville Prince Edward Community Library. The program is free and open to the public.

Hours are Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Children ages four through sixth grade are welcome. CRUISE-IN, 4-8 p.m. hosted by The Heart of Virginia Classic Auto Club in the parking lot by Tractor Supply and AA storage. Bring your classic car to show or just drop by and check out all the good looking cars. There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
