New board members elected

Full Circle School in Rice recently elected two new school board members, Sondra Garnett and William “Bill” Jenkins, who will join current board members Angela Whittaker, Allison Crews, Joan Kruzicki, Beverly Hines and Judy Chambliss.

“There is a great deal of growth and change happening right now at Full Circle,” said new board member Garnett. “I’m extremely honored to be a part of the Full Circle Board and excited to play a part in supporting the mission and vision of the school, to inspire and engage learners as global citizens.”

Full Circle Director and Board President, Whittaker stated, “I am pleased to welcome our two newest members to our school board. They each have unique backgrounds and deep ties to the Rice community. As we prepare for the construction of a new school building and the expansion of our academic programs to include pre-K and first grade, their diverse experiences in education and business will make them true assets to the Full Circle Community and the school as a whole.”

Jenkins stated, “I am really impressed by the work the school is doing. It has been a big boost for the area. I really want to support this type of education.”
