Lydia L. Fisher

Lydia L. Fisher 85, Prospect Virginia, Formerly of East Earl, surrounded by her family, went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 10, 2019. Born in Lancaster County Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Emma Lapp. Lydia was the wife of the late John E. Fisher who died in 2013. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, gardening, reading, word search books, birdwatching, and spending time with her family and friends.
She attended Calvary Chapel Church in Virginia.
Lydia is survived by eight children: Emy, wife of the late Gordon Miller of Manheim, Jesse Fisher of New Holland, Barb, wife of Glen Weidman of Christiana, Marti, wife of Charlie Dagen of Willow Street, Verna, wife of Buck Mowday of Paradise, Mary Jane, wife of Paul Glick of East Earl, Marvin, husband of Sherri Fisher of Prospect Virginia, Wilma, wife of Tim Bender of New Holland, 27 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law Hannah Lapp and was preceded in death four brothers and three sisters.
The Virginia services will be at Calvary Chapel Farmville, 302 Industrial Park Rd., Farmville. Visitation service April 12, from 5:30 -7 p.m. with memorial service to follow.
The PA services are at Petra Christian Fellowship, 565 Airport Rd., New Holland, PA 17557.
Visitation service Monday April 15, 6-8 p.m. Memorial center of service, Tuesday April 16, 2019 10-11:30 a.m. graveside service will follow.
