The March meeting of Heritage Garden Club was held at the home of Diane Stubbins with Deanna Fehrer serving as co-hostess. Heritage member, Pam Wilson, presented an informative program on growing orchids. In addition to displaying many of the lovely flowers from the extensive collection she shares with her brother, she explained the differences in the varieties and how to care for each. Wilson brought pictures to show how she takes care of the plants in the summer by hanging them in her magnolia tree. Even though orchids do not produce blooms all year, Wilson convinced members that it is not that difficult to grow them successfully. Pictured is Wilson with orchids.
