EASTER SERVICES at Cedar Baptist Church, 3932 Bell Road, Dillwyn. Good Friday service 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m., Easter egg hunt followed by lunch; Sunday, sunrise service 6:30 a.m. followed by breakfast then worship service at 8 a.m. There will be no Sunday school or 11 a.m. worship service.

ROTARY PANCAKE BRUNCH, 8-11 a.m. at The Woodland, 2003 Cobb St., Farmville hosted by the Rotary Club of Farmville.
TOWN HALL MEETING, 9-11 a.m. with Leigh District Supervisor at Meherrin Fire Hall, 102 Moore’s Ordinary Road. All citizens are welcome. Light breakfast will be provided.
EASTER EGG HUNT, 10 a.m.-noon at Thomas Chapel UMC, 1313 Cartersville Road.
2019 FARMVILLE WINE FESTIVAL, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Riverside Park, 415 N. Main St., Farmville.
MASS CHOIR ANNIVERSARY, 3 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church. Musical guest will be the Voices of Unity. Midway is located at 837 Guinea Road in Farmville. The Rev. Irma T. Watson is pastor. All are welcome.
CRUISE IN, 5-8 p.m. hosted by The Heart of Virginia Classic Auto Club in the parking lot at Tractor Supply. Bring your classic car or antique to show. The public is welcome. A 50/50 will be held. We will not be giving trophies this year. This is free and no entry fee. The cruise ins will be on the third Saturday each month through September. The club meetings are held the second Monday of each month at Merk’s Place in Farmville at 6 p.m.

NATIONAL DRUG TAKE BACK DAY, noon- 4 p.m. sponsored by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, partnering with the Cumberland County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office, Cumberland Pharmacy and Cardinal Health to provide a drop-off for expired or unused medications at the Patriot Day Celebration at the Cumberland Courthouse. This is a great way to properly dispose of unwanted or expired medications.
BARBECUE SUPPER, 4-7 p.m. to benefit Relay Team, “Friends for a Cure” at Red Oak Excavating in Red Oak. Tickets can be purchased by calling (434) 470-1955 (Teresa Osborne) or you can purchase them at the door. You can eat in or take out. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society.
