BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY, 8:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. hosted by the Randolph District Fire Department and Auxiliary at the firehouse, 2145 Cumberland Road. Three Easter egg hunts will be held. First hunt, toddler to 3 years of age; second hunt, ages four to eight; and last hunt, ages nine -12. Have children bring their Easter baskets to collect the eggs. Make a donation at the door to support the fire department.
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT PRAYER BREAKFAST, 9 a.m. at Mossingford Baptist Church. Speaker will be Evangelist Carolyn Goode from the Mossingford Church
CHURCH BOUTIQUE AND BAKE SALE, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Farmville Baptist Church. New and gently used women’s clothing, jewelry and accessories.
BOUTIQUE AND BAKE SALE, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Farmville Baptist Church. New and gently worn women’s clothes and homemade baked goods will be on sale. Proceeds will benefit the church’s Children’s Ministry and a local charity.
EASTER EGG HUNT, 11 a.m.-noon at the Firemen’s Sports Arena, 1328 Zion Hill Road, Farmville. Rain date, April 20. Sponsored by the Town of Farmville.
TEA FOR A CAUSE, 1-3 p.m. at 16955 Oak St., the purple house in Dillwyn, to support the Michael J. Fox Foundation. Borrow or wear your favorite hat, fascinator and/or boa. Enjoy a cup of tea and something sweet to support this charity. You may donate on the Michael J. Fox Foundation website with your credit card, or write a check at the event. Check and cash donations will be collected and mailed into the foundation. There will be door prizes. Everyone welcome.

BAKE SALE, 7 a.m.- noon at Centra Southside Community Hospital to benefit the Auxiliary Guild Fund, which provides prescriptions for patients who cannot afford them. Bake and shop for a great cause.
WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Upper Room Baptist Church, Tuggle Road, Farmville.
MONTHLY MEETING, 6 p.m. of the Prince Edward Branch NAACP at the SCOPE building at 505 Griffin Blvd., Farmville.
SPRING CONCERT, 7 p.m. of the Heart of Virginia Community Band in Jarman Auditorium at Longwood University. The concert is free of charge and family friendly. The concert will feature popular favorites and traditional band music. The band will be celebrating five years of making music.

STORY AND CRAFT TIME, 11 a.m. at the J. Robert Jamerson Memorial Library, Appomattox. An age appropriate book will be read followed by a simple craft project.
LENTEN SERVICE/ FREE LUNCHEON, noon-1 p.m. at Payne Memorial United Methodist Church. The speaker will be the Rev. Barry Vassar and the topic is From Sorrow to Gladness. Lunch will be provided by members of the congregation. All are welcome.
KNIT AND CROCHET, 5 p.m. at Farmville Baptist Church. Everyone welcome.
PRESENTATION, 6 p.m. by Kate Whorley, owner of Upper Looper to discuss what she has learned about making an Etsy shop work, from reaching target markets, to pricing, photography and beyond. This event will be held at the Longwood Center for Visual Arts. Free and open to the public.

The sale will be conducted as follows: April 18, 4-7 p.m, preview sale, open to Friends’ members only; April 19, 11, a.m.-4 p.m., open to the public; April 20 , 10 a.m. -1 p.m. and Bojangles of Farmville will have a food truck on-site from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
