Leadership Farmville recently held its 15th graduation ceremony in the Chairman Room at Hampden-Sydney. Sponsored by the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce the program took place over seven months and was dedicated to developing new leaders in the community.
The program covered topics such as Law Enforcement and Economic Development, Education, Health care, History, Arts, Culture and Servant Leadership along with a trip to the General Assembly.
Executive Director Joy Stump stated, “Leadership Farmville is one of the most rewarding programs that the Farmville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts.
This year’s class was enthusiastic, energetic and eager to learn and serve our community. The projects were thoughtful, innovative and really impressive. It always impresses us to see employers invest in their staff by supporting them through the Leadership Farmville program.
