The Buckingham County Christian Fellowship Association, a nonprofit organization, will be hosting its regular monthly meeting Monday at 5 p.m. at Hatcher Baptist Church Cumberland. All members are asked to bring a covered dish for the meal. This will be followed by the annual flower/plant exchange which is optional. Cumberland County Landfill Alert Committee welcomes all citizens of Cumberland County and surrounding counties to a community meeting concerning the proposed landfill to learn more and receive information about the stand against this issue. Spreading God’s Gifts Inc., a nonprofit organization serving Buckingham and surrounding counties in helping people in their hour of need, will be hosting its annual fish fry Saturday, April 13, at 5 p.m. at Mulberry Grove Baptist Church located 13283 West James Anderson Hwy., Buckingham. Dinner to include fried fish, baked beans, fresh coleslaw, french fries, dessert and beverage all for a donation. You may eat in or takeout. The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors monthly meeting is held every second Tuesday unless otherwise announced at 7 p.m. in the Cumberland County courtroom.
