Hannah Madaline Moore Kokotinis, 78 of Prospect, VA passed away on March 1, 2019.

She was born on August 8, 1940 to the late George W. and Mamie Whiteside Moore. She grew up in Farmville and was the first woman manager for the Safeway Stores.

She moved to the Chesapeake area for 30 years but came back to Farmville to be with her grandchildren, who were her world, she never missed any activities with them. She loved to garden and was a fantastic cook, she was good at design and decorating, she truly had quite a talent in this area. She loved to host family get togethers and was always the one to keep everyone in touch with each other.

She is survived by her daughter Monica Coleman (Jimmy) of Prospect, 5 brothers; George Moore Jr. (Shirley) of Farmville, Melvin Moore (Marigold) of Farmville, David Moore of Cumberland, Jack Moore (Bernice) of Cumberland, Kenny Moore of Farmville, 3 sisters; Polly Mottley (Billy) of Buckingham, Joyce Morris (Jimmie) of Cumberland, Debbie Watson (Ken) of Farmville, and 2 granddaughters; Brooke and Shannon Coleman of Prospect. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother William Moore and her husband Pete Kokotinis.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Puckett Funeral Home with interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens. Family received friends on Monday March 4, from 6-8 p.m. at Puckett Funeral Home. Puckett Funeral Home served the family
