Shiffer joins CRC

The Commonwealth Regional Council (CRC) hired Amy Shiffer to serve as its part-time office manager.
Shiffer succeeds the previous office manager, Doug Watson.
According to a newsletter from the CRC, Shiffer is a 2010 graduate of Longwood University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing. Shiffer was hired in November 2018.
Shiffer, according to the release, has an employment and educational background in accounting, banking and management. She works part-time at R. A. Wilmoth Accounting in Farmville.
Shiffer, a Farmville resident, has two children and a cat named Daisy. Her daughter, Hannah Eason, is 19 and a recent Fuqua School graduate, the release cited.
Hannah is currently attending VCU and plans to major in Communications. The release cited she worked as a Disc Jockey for several years at WFLO.
Zachary Eason, Shiffer’s son, is 15 and a sophomore at Fuqua School.
He plans to obtain his pilot’s license, the release cited.
