Hampden-Sydney College (H-SC) Baseball Head Coach Jeff Kinne has announced the cancellation of the Ty Cobb Classic scheduled for this weekend, Friday-Sunday, due to the inclement weather conditions, an H-SC press release cited Wednesday afternoon.

Officials noted in the release that the Tigers had been scheduled to host non-conference schools Southern Virginia University, Keystone College and Moravian College for six games over three days at Yank Bernier Field at the Ty Cobb Ballpark – Wurderman Stadium.

The release concluded by highlighting that H-SC (2-1) is scheduled to play again on the road at non-league opponent Marymount University on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at the Nationals Youth Academy in Arlington.
